Website build and UX design

BuildStore

Working with BuildStore’s own in-house designer, we supported him with a UX specialist and web developer, to help with planning a simplified structure to their site and work out how to break down the individual components of varying styles, and re-purpose them throughout the newly updated website.

This allowed BuildStore to produce pages that better suit their content sections, rather than being constrained by using a dull, repetitive, templated structure. Allied with the Craft CMS backend, this afforded the client an easy to use and flexible means of updating.

Forms and applications also played a big part of the site, so the setup of a form builder allowed for far better control and setup of these multiple forms.

Mobile navigation presented another challenge, in that the whole site navigation was to be included. Clever use of caching and custom JavaScript meant there was no negative impact on the performance of the site.
